NX Horizon™ and NX Data Hub: Delivering Record-Breaking Solar with Speed and Efficiency
More proof of going big without compromising on safety or performance.
Located in Coahuila, Mexico, the 828 MWDC Villanueva Solar Power Plant stands as the largest in the Americas, generating more than 1,850 GWh of electricity annually, which is enough to power 1.4 million homes and offset over 1 million tons of carbon emissions each year. It also marks a major step toward the country’s plan to generate 50 percent of its total electricity from clean sources by 2050.
Working alongside developer Enel Green Power México and subcontractor Swinerton Renewable Energy, Nextpower delivered more than 28,000 NX Horizon™ tracker rows for maximum solar capture and introduced advanced monitoring and control platform, NX Data Hub. Together, these technologies proved that systems designed for fast installation and real-time visibility can accelerate construction timelines, strengthen safety, and keep large-scale projects on schedule, even in challenging environments.
Not only did the team achieve a record of 20,430 solar panels installed in a single day, but the project was delivered nine months ahead of schedule.
