I’m excited to announce the launch of our new trunk connector NX PowerMerge™ — the first product from our eBOS line since bringing Bentek into the Nextpower family.
What’s different about NX PowerMerge? Until now, solar eBOS has been divided into two families: factory-molded and field connectors. Our trunk bus connector design is a blend of both. The result: fewer connection points, lower eBOS cost, and stronger long-term field performance for utility-scale solar plants.
I’d recommend reading this excellent PV magazine USA article for a deeper dive.
In short, we built this for the folks on the ground.
Project teams need flexible installation methods, faster commissioning, and rock-solid durability under tough conditions. PowerMerge is field-adaptable—designed for today’s high-voltage PV arrays and tomorrow’s grid needs. It’s a no-compromise solution that fits into any tracker or fixed ground-mount system.
Huge thanks to our Bentek and eBOS engineering teams. This is the kind of scalable technology that helps solar continue to grow its share of global power generation—and it reflects the forward-looking innovation you can expect from Nextracker.
